About Literie
Literie was founded in 2021 on the belief that scent has the power to transport us—to places we love, moments we cherish, and memories we want to relive. The idea began when our founder, Erica Werber, sought to capture the essence of New York City in a candle, turning everyday experiences—like buying flowers from the bodega or a walk through Central Park—into nostalgic, giftable scents.
Since then, Literie has expanded its assortment beyond city-inspired scents to include collaborations with television and film properties, like Emily in Paris, and widely recognized sporting events like the US Open, and the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup, among others.
With a focus on high-quality, clean-burning candles and thoughtful design, Literie has built a devoted following, turning scent into a storytelling experience that makes everyday moments feel special.
